A distinctive Eastern flavor permeates this release—like a hallucinogenic Boards of Canada twisted through a prism of Arabian, Persian and Central Asian influences.

Tumbling arpeggios shift to splayed hip-hop breaks and wonky Eastern melody whilst TV documentary samples and short, pretty vignettes conjure further atmospherics on this wildly inventive and strange long player. A recommended album."
